Erik is a certified and seasoned Leadership & Positive Psychology Coach, Facilitator and Guest Speaker. In an organisational context, he coaches experienced and emerging leaders who want to enhance their leadership effectiveness and sense of fulfilment. He also coaches staff on enhancing their interpersonal relating and works with teams who want to improve cohesion and performance.

In private practice, he coaches both adults and youth who want to step into their best self, build their strengths, capabilities and resilience and enhance their positive functioning, well-being and flourishing. Erik has held senior management positions in a diverse range of organisations in New Zealand, Australia and Europe. He has worked in the leadership, organisational development and personal development fields for 25 years, in private practice since 2001.

Erik is renowned for his relentless passion to inspire, enable and empower people to positivise their impact on self and others. His coaching approach is underpinned by effective and evidence based concepts and tools from the Neuroscience, Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, Development Psychology and Positive Psychology fields.

Erik is an International Coach Federation (ICF) credentialed coach, a certified Leadership Circle Coach, an accredited Strengths Profiler practitioner, an approved Heartmath® Facilitator and certified PRINT® The Why of You coach. He abides by the strict ICF code of ethics and is engaged in continuous professional development and coach supervision.

He is on the coaching panel at some of New Zealand's largest and leading organisations as well as the Global Women's Breakthrough Leaders Programme. Erik is also a volunteer mentor at the Staples Education Foundation and a regular Guest Lecturer at the University of Auckland.
